Aaron DeRousse, Special Road District A road foreman, reported during the Aug. 9 meeting that the road crew was continuing to mow and they have been spraying weeds along the roadways.

They had also been working in the shop making repairs to the boom mower. A cylinder has been replaced on that and reported that the 2008 tandem was repaired by TAG Truck Centers in Farmington.

He reported that the speed bump has been removed by the resident on Boverie Drive.

The board discussed possible overlays for the fall. DeRousse said Industrial Drive is in bad shape and could definitely use an overlay, adding that there is a drainage problem by Ready Mix Concrete that needs to be addressed.

The board requested DeRousse take some measurements of the road so that it can be prepared to bid out to see if it can be taken care of this fall yet – depending on how the bids come in.
